ekoSpecial measures are taken to reduce emissions of regulated pollutants at the company's production sites. The measures listed below are applied when weather conditions in the surface layer of the atmosphere are expected to contribute to the accumulation of pollutants-adverse weather conditions (AWC)

Activities at AWC I degree

The operation of the enterprise for the selected sources in terms of NMU, for achieving the estimated reduction of the concentration at the boundary of residential.

1. Strengthening of technological discipline of production:

  • Strengthening of control over observance of technology of conducting welding works, conducting control over the consumption of welding materials – source No. 1,2,3,6;
  • Strengthening of control over the exact observance of the technological regulations of works during the spraying of the penetrant. Not the acceptance of high consumption aerosol – source No. 9.

2. Redistribution of equipment load:

  • Exclusion of use of machines with a diameter of 300 mm circle. Simultaneous operation of only one machine with a diameter of up to 250 mm circle – source No. 6.

3. Changing the rules of work with the decrease of the intensity of the work is the application of technological break:

  • Reducing the intensity of gas cutting of metal by 25%. Work is performed in cycles: 15 minutes cutting 5 minutes maintenance break – source. No. 60

These measures provide a reduction in emissions of controlled pollutants into the atmosphere as a whole from the enterprise by 15.0-21.9% and a reduction in the calculated concentrations at maximum points by 15.01-26.09%.

Activities under II degree AWC

It provides for the use of organizational measures of similar degree I, as well as in addition to them, reducing the load on the equipment.

1. Reducing the intensity of the use of consumables:

  • The strengthening of control over observance of technology of conducting welding works. The decrease in the intensity of welding by 25% from the calculated. Control of welding materials consumption according to the specified parameters – source No. 1,2,3,6;
  • Strengthening of control over the exact observance of the technological regulations of works during the spraying of the penetrant. Reducing the intensity of work (spray penetrant) by 25%. Work to produce cycles: 15 min work, 5 min break technology – source No. 9.

2. Changes in the rules of work with a decrease in the intensity of work-the use of technological break:

  • Reducing the intensity of gas cutting of metal by 25% of the design. Work is performed in cycles: 15 minutes cutting 5 minutes maintenance break – source No. 6007.

3. Redistribution of equipment load:

  • Exclusion of the use of Metalworking machines with a diameter of the circle of 250 and 300 mm. Simultaneous operation of only 1 machine with a diameter of the circle to 200 mm – source No. 6.

These measures provide a reduction in emissions of controlled pollutants into the atmosphere as a whole from the enterprise by 38.0-49.2% and a reduction in the estimated concentrations at maximum points by 38.76 – 50.0%.

Activities under III degree AWC

It provides for the use of organizational measures of similar degree I, as well as in addition to them, reducing the load on the equipment.

1. Reducing the intensity of the use of consumables:

  • The strengthening of control over observance of technology of conducting welding works. Reduction of welding intensity by 50% of the design. Control of welding materials consumption according to the specified parameters – source 1,2,3,6;
  • Strengthening of control over the exact observance of the technological regulations of works during the spraying of the penetrant. Reducing the intensity of work (spray penetrant) by 33%. Work to produce cycles: 10 min work, 5 min break technology – source No. 9.

2. Changes in the rules of work with a decrease in the intensity of work-the use of technological break:

  • Reducing the intensity of gas cutting of metal by 75% of the design. Work carried out in cycles: 5 minutes cutting, 15 minutes maintenance break – source No. 6007.

3. Redistribution of load on the equipment with a decrease in the intensity of work-the use of technological break:

  • Excluding the use of Metalworking machines with a diameter of 250-300 mm.
  • Simultaneous operation of only 1 machine with a circle diameter of up to 200 mm. reduction in the intensity of grinding work by 25% (after every 15 minutes of work to produce a technological break of 5 min.) – source No. 6.

These measures provide a reduction in emissions of controlled pollutants into the atmosphere as a whole from the enterprise by 48,0-73,8% and a reduction in the calculated concentrations at maximum points by 47,22-74,64%
